About Us
Rooster Springs Elementary PTA Mission Statement:
Parents, teachers and school partnering together with
a common goal of enhancing our student's learning environment
in alignment with the school's vision. Rooster Springs
Elementary School encourages parent involvement and
strives to create an environment where parents have
a sense of ownership in their school, where volunteers
are appreciated for their efforts and can find a place
to make a difference in their child's school.
Rooster Springs Elementary School is located in the Dripping Springs Independent School District.

Purpose
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship;
- To raise the standards of home life;
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
- To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

RSE PTA 2011-12 Goals
- To provide programs which enhance the well being
and education of every child at Rooster Springs Elementary
- To nurture the sense of community at Rooster Springs
by a) providing free events which bring families to
the school and b) creating an environment where differing
voices can be heard for the betterment of our children
- To maximize communication with parents and educators
through the use of the unit's website, monthly newsletter,
weekly email blast, school marquee, and bulletin board
- To develop strategies to better incorporate the
educators of Rooster Springs into the Parent Teacher
Association
- To assist school with the management of day to day operations.
